No I never inked it. I stuck it in as a little "extra" with a commission someone had ordered
Your a diamond geezer Darren.

"Micheal H i can't see nothing wrong with your Slimer, Did you colour it
in CMYK. ? The other one is very nice hope to see more of your work."
No I colored it in RGB. Do you think that would make a difference?
I am starting to think that it is not the color that is the problem but
the contrast. He does not seem three dimensional enough.

Thanks James. The Barda looks great! As Darren pointed out the WPD
seems to be down right now, hopefully it will be back up and running
soon.

Michael, RGB is the way to go. There is no reason to switch over to CMYK
unless the piece is being done for print, an than only at the end of the
process. However the CMYK preview should be turned on to make sure
colors stay with in the gamut if you are working for print. RGB mode is
brighter and more flexible and has more available filters.
Your piece looks fine, all it needs is some Curves adjustment, and as
Matthew pointed out a background would help it pop. Here as quickie I
did with your piece to help illustrate what I'm trying to get across. :)

Vlad - That looks great, Slimer looks like he is glowing. The transparent look is really nice.
Ed - That is a great Thor.

I've found that with the few things i've colored it always makes a big
difference. When I was in art school, they didn't like you to
draw -anything- that didn't have some sort of background or some way to
tie down a "floating item" Now that Slimer really is floating is
a different story...
Vlad - where is a good place to learn about curves? I've tried to
fool with them a bit, but to no avail and need help. Any books or
online tutorials you can point me to?
Also, when you ink in Photoshop, do you use brush or pencil tool?
