"It's like sometimes i forget which side of the pencil the lead comes from... "-Anthony
Actually I do! It happens to me once every three months, just about regular as clock-work. i go into a two or three week depression and walk the "give it up" tightrope. Once the quaterly sabbatical came along and I didn't pick up a pencil at home for two years! I still doodles faces at work on notepads but my mind just wouldn't engage.
I think the "downtime" or the "questioning" is all part of the growing process, which is necessary for artists. So don't worry dude if you are going through a bad patch. My best advice:
Don't think about it, crack open the poison of your choice, kick back with a bundle of your favourite comics and chill. You'll soon find the urge to draw;-)

Yeah i know , About the only thing i've been doing the last few days that i'm satisfied with is some sketching i'm doing of some favorite actors of mine. People's who's faces i find interesting, Bela Lugosi Vincent Price and Orson Welles thus far. I'll post them all when I run my course with them. But anything else i feel like it is all just muddy right now. I'll settle for the cheese cake you're laying down Darren

Anthony...I was going to try and do a "sketchbook" but I wouldn't know the first thing about distribution and what not, that and most of my stuff is copyrighted by other companies-LOL...I'm in the process of producing a little "Secret Project" of my own which I'll do a print run of 100 on. I cover my printing and shipping costs and let some of my long term fans have a tangible "Roadkill" comic. Kinda paying back all their kindness.

this is done I'll be able to respond a little more.
But don't think I haven't been looking at what you ALL have been doing. Very nice as usuall!!!
Carry on...

Glad you like it Anthony. That makes it worth while to do.
It took so long because he has so many cool parts and pieces. I
think I also took a longer route than needed, but that how we learn.
Going to play Batman Begins with my eldest daughter for the rest of the
night. Or until the old man falls asleep on the couch...
