Never color with markers.

You can, but it's usually the type of markers and how you do it.  I sort of got a feel for awhile using some high end graphic design markers, but stopped using them.

Anyway, I still really like your page and think you did a fine job with the colors.  Any more pages to the story?

Oh, I agree, I love using markers. They are not good for all occasions, but
can be great if used the right way. A few years back I was doing loads of
illustration using markers. Haven't done any serious work for a while
since I'm concentrating on digital stuff, but I still fondly remember
working with markers.
Don't have many examples around, but I found these two. Keep in mind
that the work is YEARS old. :)

Vlad - interesting to see the progression an artist has.  Your old stuff is cool, but I can see a definitive change from then to now.

Ed - very nice!!

MAC - what can I say except "awesome"!

"Never" Marc! That's "Pandora". But I have moments like that where my brain acts like it "knows" better than me;-)

Nice work D. i like the progression of style.I HAD a buttload of
work in storage but failed to pay the monthly fee, fell behind
and ended losing thousands of drawings, pages and paintings.
It took a while to get over that bonehead mistake. Then i
realized i could draw more of the same.

"Ouch"...that had to hurt dude. I lost a small amount of comics and artwork to old girlfriends over the years but that's to be expected I guess.

The commission is looking great., although I wonder if his camera left arm might be batter aiming more "at us" for the sake of dynaminisim?

-EDIT- Ignore me...I just seen the one with the Aliens in it and remembered the piece better. The arms fine as is, given that it's aiming at an alien -in- camera.
