Teod - I have to say, that is some of the coolest stuff.  Kinda creepy/fun.  I'd love to see your take on, say Green Lantern, Dr. Strange, or Dr. Fate.

Thanks Matthew! I would love to do covers for comics ( in the Dave Mckean,  James Jean, Kent Williams and etc school of thought ) . I just paint where the wind blows me in a personal direction based on art history, various inspirations, and my take on how to move paint. Fun to share and to see what all you guys do.

You should submit some stuff to DC.  You've certainly got the talent.

I popped quickly by your website.  Didn't realize that you did the charaters for Tool "Sober".  That video rocked!  Hope too see more stuff on your site soon.

Thanks again. I still have one of the characters. I took him where I teach and showed some of the students, they flipped, the ones that knew the video that is, it is getting to be a looong time ago, 1993. I was the lead artist/designer on the project, though the director Fred Stuhr was a brilliant artist who did a lot of that himself, and Adam Jones from Tool was like a second director who pushed it towards the "Brothers Quay" look. Way back in this thread I posted a character sketch for the second video I did "Prison Sex".

My web site is so old, it needs updates big time. I am learning Dream Weaver so hopefully soon I will have the skills to take it to the next level.

Can anyone offer some suggestions on his right leg?  It looks a little wonky to me.

Good stuff Matthew. My suggestion would be to show the lower part of his leg more. From his knee down to his foot -appears- to be missing. Stand in fron of the mirror with one leg raised in the same fashion to get the image in your head. The muscles all compress together spreading out sideways in this position., it's quite uncomfortable so you'd naturally keep a little less compression, meaning your foot/heel wouldn#t be half way up your arse;-)

Alan Davis does these sort of shots very well (What doesn't he do well, right;-)

Lowering the lower leg a little might goe some way to the piece not feeling so one sided also.

Get to it dude, let's see the result!

What a great sig you have Ed! This is a great image of Hawkeye...I just can't work out why you'd do that great perspective on his arm but not on his bent leg!?

Dude, you should post more often as this shows some great ability.
