I'm doing a multi-media presentation tomorrow and against my better judgement I need to include a piece on my "hobby".

I'll need a "graphic" to illustrate this, so decided to do something "new". I thought most of the businessmen that will be there are likely to know very little about what looks like a good comicbook drawing as you and I might. I chose to go "simple".

That decision made me think of toons...so I banged this graphic together, sketch, inks, scanned and coloured in twentyfive minutes.

I'm happy that this will do the job in underlining the "comicbook" interest I have.

Kind of McGuiness-esque in tone, Darren, right?  I'd lose the bat-emblem belt buckle and go for a simpler shape, but otherwise a nice sketch...especially for twenty-five minutes!

Looking great Anthony! I was thinking of inking that one, but now it
doesn't seem like it's a good idea. LOL

Thank-you. Came out okay for a quickie, well for what was really nothing more than an example of the process.

I'm not familiar with McGuiness but I'll take it as a compliment...cause it sounded like one;-)

The belt-buckle was an extravigance on my part, you'll need to forgive me. Next time I'll know better.

Here's a sketch I did for a friend of mine last night
while watching Gangs of New York. It's my
character, Frank Hosser, punching out his character,
Countenance.
