Why not a simple word balloon with a bold comic book font? *Edited to add: Bold on the word "Studio," open letters on the number "108."
Per my original suggestion, I'd call it Studio 108...not #108, nor 108 Studio...

No,not yet.Anthony, you offered to pencil and ink one of Darren's sketches over his layouts. Is it something you'd like to do on a whole comic? You seem to be pretty fast.To say things directly,if one day I offered you to work on my layouts would you be interested?

If there was enough time,sure.
The way things are now saying yes would be disastrous.
Do not want to go thru that scenario again.

Yup,we're both busy,I understand. But let me describe my project to you just in case.I'm working on a project with Robert Richardson,a Canadian writer. It's a pulp story with such influences as Challengers of the Unknown,Fantastic Four,Indiana Jones,Monkeyman and O'Brien but there are no superheroes, just normal people and aliens. It's intended to be a fun book with a message about international brotherhood. The main characters are 2 scientific rivals-an American and a Frenchman-who discover a hidden city and ice giants in Antartica and who have to form an alliance.Their adventures then lead them to Amazonia and Africa, with the Frenchman's son and the American's girlfriend+her brother. One of the interesting things in the story will be their getting to know each other better and their becoming real friends despite their differences. This is important to me because I love my country and also America, and I find all the misunderstandings between our countries saddening. That's why I see this project as a nice symbol, and it would be even motre symbolical if the artistic team was Franco-American too.Rob and I want to show it to Erik Larsen and if it's not accepted to publishers in France. In both cases we need to show 5 inked, colored and lettered pages.I've done 19 pages of layouts so far and the first 16 take place in Antartica, then a few pages take place in New York and Paris, and after that we're going to Amazonia. So the backgrounds will mostly be snow and jungle, easy and quick stuff.I posted some pages from this project page 39.I now need a finishing artist and I'd be honored and thrilled to team up with you. It's not really that urgent, there's no deadline and only 5 finished pages need to be done before it's approved. When it's approved there will be a deadline if it is at Image but if it becomes a French graphic novel then we'll be given 10 to 12 months to do 46 pages.2 of my best buddies, who are editors in chief at 2 major companies in France and who are in charge of adapting American comics have told me that if this project is published by Image they want to adapt it in France.
So that's it,you know eveything.Just in case you're interested and find some time one of these days, here's my e-mail:

Hey Chris,
I liked the pages that you posted, I think they would be fun to ink, but
my problem is a bit like Anthony's. I have a full time job, and I'm very
hesitant to commit myself to a schedule and than not be able to meet it.
It's too bad the whole thing sounds like fun.
