Hey guys!I'm looking for a partner!I'm very busy on both sides of the Atlantic.I'm doing stuff for the French market and working on a project for Image before working on Alexa 2 in the coming weeks.I'm looking for someone who can be both a finisher and an inker, someone who brings his own touch while respecting my style.Anyone interested can try his inks on these 2 pages. They're detailed but some parts are rushed and your creativity is welcome! Please send me an e-mail to get high-rez pages. All inked versions will be shown on my website...

Well this is how the drawing ended up I ended up removing kitty , and warren from what i orignally layed out . due to the shape of the standup that the airbrusher wanted oh well .I  kept my favorites

Looks great my friend. To be honest as much as the image -needs- something to add balast against Kurts figure over on the right. The Shadowcat image seemed a little "tagged" on. Maybe if she had been stepping up through the floor rather than a diminutive full figure stepping through the wall. I dunno I'm babbling now but either way it's a great image.

Yeah Darren i wanted there to be balance.I pencilled her in at the time i figured once i completed the job  i would pencil in a background maybe the danger room or something i was going to have her phasing. But since i had to erase her for the job i figure let me finish the figures and if i wanted to i could draw her later and photoshop her into the back ground i'm still considering it.

I love your bottom picture!  They remind me of the Groovy Ghoulies!

I had the Ghoulies in mind. It was an idea i had i considered submitting to king features  trying to get a gig doing a strip i had three things in mind  the monster there and idea about little kids who were little comic geeks and they would have adventures in their imaginations they would look like superhero's

Mac, if it is just a "teaser" sort of tryout you are after, I banged this up...not sure -how- "finished" you want it, so I left it -really- bare-bones to give you more to "play" with before you hand it off to Vlad. I have a larger version I can email you should you need it.

If -this- isn't what you were thinking of, let me know as this took fifteen minutes and I'd just bang you our another.

[layout removed as Anthony's is a far stronger and that should be the one used.]

MAC, when I get in this evening I'll post some ideas of what I'm talking about re composition and your layout.

I don't know if you've already lined up people to work on that layout you mentioned, but I'm always available for commercial work.  If anything comes up, please feel free to email me at btx109@aol.com or Browntownmedia@aol.com.  Both email addresses are checked throughout the day.

Thanks,

Glenn

OK MAC, here is an example of what I referred to in my lengthy post on composition...the large red outline  refers to a pyramid-type of design shape, with a strong base (the dashed outline at the bottom corresponding to the base).  And the red arrow shows the forward direction that the characters appear to be thrusting towards.  The characters outside of that pyramid shape throw off the compositional design, IMO, and weaken the power of the image.
