Great colours Mac. Finished oof like that, it looks pretty cool...now you just need the sky scrapers in perspective behind him to cap it all off!

hey Guys,
Crap is hot in NYC. Meeting went well and hooked up some
more commercial work.
Now back to what i really love...COMICS!!
Anyone interested iin laying out a cover?
The pay is $100(if accepted) and the client is the studio that
produces the book BLOODRAYNE.
http://echo3worldwide.com/main.htm
Check it out.If you guys want we could make it a studio thing, i'll
tell Ed that it is.
We'll split the loot 4-5 ways.
Post if interested.
By the way i was offered some freelance work by Rob Liefeld.
Something to think about...

Thanks Mac i'm going to devote sometime this weekend to coloring it. What do you guys think i should do with the coloring.. I tend to like going old school when coloring not alot of photoshop effects when doing anything comic related. But do you guys think i should add some cool photo effects to the pic ?

Hi Mac. Here are my suggestions. I've tilted figures here and there to suggest a -little- movement.
Swapping them around to this order, to me works better. Everyones suggestions makes lots of sence. My two biggest problems were the guys on the flying vehicles at the top right seemed too square on. Secondly the flying figure behind the central figure with his arm back, appeared to be perched on his arm.

Do it the way that will achieve the final effect you want the piece to have. Whatever way you see it in your head, try to emulate that.
As I am learning with my inking, practice and trial and error are the best ways to learn from, as well as all the other fantastic examples here. Kinda like Vlad did with the Ghost Rider pencils, he experimented a bit. The great thing about digital is that you can go back and redo it, or save different versions of it to see what worked best.
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!!!

Looks great my friend. To be honest as much as the image -needs- something to add balast against Kurts figure over on the right. The Shadowcat image seemed a little "tagged" on. Maybe if she had been stepping up through the floor rather than a diminutive full figure stepping through the wall. I dunno I'm babbling now but either way it's a great image.
