JB, when you do starscapes do you make any effort to get close to how the real stars might look?

Wish you'd phrased that differently. "Make any effort" makes it sound like NOT doing so would be NOT making an effort -- ie, being LAZY.

Anyway, as Bill observes, that way lies madness. Like trying to draw the Thing with the same patter of rocky plates from panel to panel, or drawing the webbing on Spider-Man's costume as it would "really" look.

That panel looks really cool. Love the look of the panelling/details on the space station and the sense of scale you get from the craft about to enter (or has just exited?).
