YES! Those guys! I never forgot! Didn't know they had names, though.
Very cool!

…now that I see the 3 in the R of TRIO, I cannot un-see it!

••

There are two 3s in this logo! The one you spotted, and I designed the base of the T, the spine of the R and the I to make a Roman numeral III.

Now I can't un-see either of the two 3s!

I hadn't noticed the other 3's either. Very nice. Clever*.

*Another one of those words I always have to stop and look up. I usually start of with "cleaver". That's a whole other direction.

JB, will TRIO run as a monthly title or is there an overall arc that you have in mind with an end?

I love a good reason to visit the LCS. TRIO will count as three good reasons to go each month!!

Ok, I must be the only person seeing this but I didn't see 'TRIO' in the logo at first but I saw 'TRIP'.

The spacing between the letters is exactly the same as the spacing between the stenciled parts of the letter 'R'.  My eyes couldn't pick out consistent letters because of that spacing.  The 'IO' portion morphs into a 'P'

It's like the logo is in flux before my very eyes.  A cool effect, but I doubt that's what you intended, JB.

(I should also point out that I am likely in the minority of people who might perceive the logo in this way.  For the record, I see rainbow effects from DLP televisions, visualize the lunar surface as bumps instead of craters, can wiggle my ears,  and I think cilantro tastes like dirt sprinkled with dish soap)

Those three are cool, JB- what about "Morny" instead of Morning, though?  Sounds more like a person's name!
