The Paper Doll image is pretty cool, have never seen that character.Razorfist was my first impresion also, but did'nt make sense and made my "OH!...TRIO..Rock.Paper.DUH." moment a real head slapper. And the Things face I kinda saw from previous rough sketches where his head would be "fleshed out",making evolution even more apealing. It's fun seeing things through your own lens before being put on your ear.One of the top three things I'm looking forward to in 2012!

Here's a page on Razorfist, who first appeared in "Master of Kung-Fu":

Ah, another amputee character. I prefer to avoid those! (Box being the notable exception!)

Rather unbelievably, there were three characters going by the name of Razor-Fist, each with blades replacing one or both of their hands. One of them was redesigned at some point, with functional hands, depicted further down the page from Matt's link. There's also this:

Uh...

Anyway, I'm curious to see what this Trio fellow's powers are.

I was reminded of Flatman of the GLA by the "Paper Doll" character.

Here's a peek at another non-spoiler page -- tho I have blurred out the villain, so you won't see him until you're supposed to! Another sampling of the sound effects at work.

(I think we can dispense with any "humorous" comments about the bad guy being Vibro-Man or The Blur. . . )

JB, I really like the craft the heroine is piloting!  Reminds me of flying vehicle that The Metal Men always used during their 1960's run.

••

Some definite similarities, tho the Metal Men's craft was saucer shaped, and the Trio's ship is more elongated.

Not sure if it's intended or not, but that page really "feels" like FF to me.  And that's a good thing, IMO.

I've been saying that I want to handle this book in such a way that if the FF turned up as guest stars, it would not really feel like such a big surprise.
