Unfortunately, the green and black combination is a bit too "Green Lantern" for my eyes. The red is nice, but for some reason is saying "RCMP" in my mind (Reed & Sue break into a duet).

I like either the blue or white the best. In the withe version, perhaps the 4 can be colored to offset it from the rest of the buckle.

White kinda ruins Sue's invisibility effect.

>>This concept would work nicely with the Doom Patrol.<<
It kind of did already -- I got the impression that the uniforms in JB's DP run were inspired by the black and white X-Men uniforms envisioned by Kirby.
Speaking of the Doom Patrol, the black and purple version above reminded me of the DP's appearance in the Teen Titans cartoon series, where they sported uniforms that were virtually identical to the original X-Men uniforms, with purple substituted for yellow.

White does ruin Sue's invisibility, but otherwise, like white best.
Don't care for red with Ben's orange.
Blonde hair doesn't work well with yellow.
Purple--very Challengers of the Unknown.
Yellow looks best on Reed, but prefer Blue or White overall.

White kinda ruins Sue's invisibility effect. **************** Not if she's standing in front of a colored background and not a white one like she is in this instance.

Green = Irish :-)
I like the white. This thread has derailed my planned reading. I'm going to break out my FF Visionaries John Byrne Volumes.
