Yeah, looking at that error tells me that sometimes the mistakes in coloring were not the fault of the colorist.

Thanks, Joel, really interesting!
EDIT: I guess it says it all about the world of today that I couldn’t even imagine there was an actual person working manually to cut the films.

...sometimes the mistakes in coloring were not the fault of the colorist. ••• Indeed not! When he was an editor, Roger Stern used to grumble about what he called "Separator-Editors" --- referencing the changes that would be made to approved color guides once they got to the separators. Basically, as we used to ever so delicately phrase it, if there were, say, ten steps in the production of a comicbook page, that was ten chances to fuck it up!

That's really interesting Joel, thanks. Cutting each piece individually. Man! I remember looking at the four separate plates for newsprints. But cutting it all by hand?
Having said that, if todays' colourists mainly utilize Photoshop, I'd imagine that it must take ages with the colouring quality we've got now. Maybe it's just me, but for me colouring always takes a lot longer than drawing. Even making the individual precise selections take eons...
Couldn't imagine a life without PS though... :-)

Do you get the chance to draw for fun much, or is it something you've sacrificed to be a professional?•• I ONLY draw for fun!

I love it!! The only thing that "bugs" me is Storm's mask. I think I'd prefer her having a regular X-Men mask, or if you are inclined to keep the head piece, a slight alteration like this:
or
Worth noting you chose the Cockrum visor for Cyclops, which I have never seen combined with the school uniform. Also, the color version looks great on all except Colossus. He BEGS for a darker than yellow hue!! Last, I wonder, how well the costumes would be received if colored white instead of yellow... In any case, it's really bad we never got to see X-Men Forever (or whatever!) by JB...
