I was trying to remember back, did Colossus' leggings disappear when he powered up and return to blue when he powered down again? Am I remembering correctly?

That is too cool, JB.  You could teach Alex Ross a thing or two about design.

Very cool! You're spoiling us! Not that I'm complaining! :-)
At first glance, (particularly in colour), Colossus is the one that's most instantly recognizable to my eyes, it's as if the metal is shining very bright or something, I don't know why.

Which colours do you prefer JB? Kirby's or the yellow version?

You did a costume reimagining for the Fantastic Four a few years back and now this cool X-Men piece... Whatcha say about taking a crack at the Avengers? I know it's longshot, but a man can dream can't he?

Steve, do you have a link for that FF piece? Can't seem to find it in here, would be great to see it.

Have any members of the Avengers ever sported a "team-outfit" of any sort by the way? Can't recall ever having seen it. Would be a great image though!

Seeing it in color got me wondering if I should have left Colossus' neck bare.

Maybe bare chested? Since he's the only one without sleeves and leggings might as well go as bare as possible to show off the steel body.

I think a "Cap's Kooky Quartet" would be fun to see next.  Even better a nice Sleepwalker pose or maybe The Eel....

Well, that's just cool. As to the coloring of Colossus, Maybe leave his
upper neck covered but leave his traps and clavicle area bare.

Wow, the colors JB added to his drawing really makes the characters pop out! I also hadn't really noticed, until seeing it in color, that Colossus's sides were bare. The second coloring job is cool, too! Cyclop's beam being that shade of blue really stands out.
