Still, I want an Omnibus!

JB -- do you make any money off this?

Probably not.

I received my copy of this first X-Men: The Hidden Years pocket book this
afternoon, and I really enjoyed reading the stories again. Looking forward to
Vol. 2.

Just picked this up. I'm liking the format, to my eyes it makes the art pop.

Also love the fact that I'm reading the series again!

That's a shame.  Why not?

I got my copy today.  Very nice.  I am already getting back into the joy I experienced with those stories the first time I read them.

I have no real interest in anything that's happened continuity-wise to the X-Men since the early 90s or so, (with some exceptions, of course, but whatever) but I recently (finally!) won an auction for the original issues of these and started reading them last night. I love them. I wish there was a way to get this series regularly published again.

Ditto for the latest round of JB's Next Men but I of course won't mix the threads... Just saying, it's Byrne Week Bonanza at the ol' homestead, and these Hidden Years stories are great fun. Thanks!

Well, you guys might know this already, but here in Brazil Marvel/DC were printed in smaller format (about 3 full stories per issue) since the 70's. Then a few years ago they changed it to the american size.

Still got plenty of those small ones. That's where my love and respect for JB's work surfaced and it brings great memories whenever I reach them.

Hopefully my daughter will eventually enjoy reading it.

I was browsing my collection and stumbled upon a few small brazilian ones, and remembered the talk about art reduction.

And then I took another one, with an american type one under it for comparison:
