Easily. It was a "permanent" fix in a character's status quo that really didn't need fixing.
Even though Lois and Clark were an item for many years (though on and off), the idea was that they MIGHT one day enjoy a normal relationship or marriage - but that was in that blissful future you never see except for in imaginary stories or flash-forwards.
I just thought they were better left off that way.
As for romantic interests, Superman has had his share - even though it's been downplayed these past three decades. Lana Lang and Lori Lemaris, to name two. Yup, he digs those double Ls. ;-)

From what I'm reading, you can take all 75 years of DC history and
throw it in the trash. Of course, even the stuff I'm reading appears to
be some speculation. But, what I'm reading, points to this being DC's
version of an Ultimate line. The only difference being, the regular DC
Universe will cease to exist. I'm not saying this is going to be either a
good or bad thing, but it is going to be interesting.

The more new titles are revealed, the more disappointed I get. Few, if any, of the new books would appeal to me if I was a kid. DC is just reshuffling the same deck of cards for the sake of the same old audience.

I find that the books that interest me are the ones that actually didn't need the reboot. Aquaman, Swamp Thing, and Deadman all recently returned to their old status quos.Abnett & Lanning doing a new Resurrection Man series... I'm one of the few that's probably not a big fan of their cosmic stuff as half the characters they use are unrecognizable from their classic selves, but I enjoyed the heck out of Resurrection Man the first time around. A pity Butch Guice won't be around as his art style suited the series to a "T". Whereas, several series that I might enjoy such as Perez on Superman and the Green Arrow series are mired by awful designs. I used to like Birds of Prey but dropped it when OYL went into effect and a) I needed to cull my list some and b) they brought the Kate Spencer Manhunter in, a character whose creator I will not support in the least. I find the new designs and characters less than appealing to bring me back. Way, way too many bat-books, I will not get a one. This goes true for almost all "family" books. They almost always get mired into crossovers, if not company-wide then family-wide.

On the other hand, Superman’s marriage seemed all but inevitable, as that Lois goes with Clark like peanut butter with jelly. Every attempt to interject a new romantic rival into the mix has been a failure. No serious contender has ever been found to Lois, and the two characters have been all but married in the public eye for decades. Wedding them seemed to do little to change the nature of the character, and to my mind, even enriched him a bit more. It made him more relatable, not less. There was a subtext to the Lois/Clark/Superman triangle that was very, very important to the character that marrying them completely screwed up-- the idea that the pretty girl in class would love the nerdy guy in glasses if she knew who he really was. Actually having them get together sucked everything that was emotionally compelling out of their relationship.

I'lll definitely pick up Resurrection Man. The first series is a favorite of
mine--along with Chase and Chronos, which were published around the
same time. I will sample some of the rebooted DC titles, but not all 52.

On Bleeding Cool sight there is more info about more of the changes. I was very suprised by the Hawk and Dove artist (oh, boy). I am glad that some of the Legion stuff is still being done in the future. But over all the reboot is is leaving me very cold.
