Just finished up Beyond Band of Brothers by Dick Winters.  Trudging into The Commanders by Bob Woodward.  Have also been cherrypicking through Silmarillion lately.

I stumbled across this book on Amazon; WOW, is this a blast from the past.  I forgot all about these books, but I loved them as a kid.  I also ordered Pillars of Pentegarn and Mountain of Mirrors.  They were delivered today, and I just started reading the first of them.

Never a big D&D fan, but your post brought back some memories.  I had several Marvel books, one featuring Spider-Man and the other DD vs Kingpin, that were "pick a path" books.  Fun stuff!  I'll post scans when I get a chance.

Lost Christianities: The Battle for Scripture and the Faiths we Never Knew. By Bart Ehrman.

An interesting look at some of the different "Christianities" working to become the dominate faith in the early years of Christianity. Some very different views from the faction that won out.

Sir Gawain and the Green Knight by Simon Armitage.

He goes a little over the top with the alliteration at times, but some artful use of language throughout.
