RAF Police officers are called "Snowdrops" because of the white caps they wear.
The book contains many anecdotes from RAF Police personnel, covering many decades.
There's an amusing anecdote (1983) pertaining to RAF Police personnel having to search Ascension Island for a missing document. An officer had been standing under the wing of an aircraft when a single sheet of paper flew out of his grasp in the wind - and blew away in the breeze.
Despite searching the island, RAF Police personnel could not find the document. There was a theory that it may have blown into the sea, but the sergeant wasn't happy with that. He did put it down as a possibility in his report, but was never convinced the document had ended up in the sea because he couldn't prove it!
