I think I can do it.  Same era?  Or fitting with the reprint theme, earlier era?

I coould have one for you guys in a few days, but... big caution here... whereas this was a big fun everyone included event, wouldn't we be veering into the dreaded FanFic area that JB isn't too fond of?

Now, if we could justify it by saying it's part of this project, ok , that makes sense, but otherwise, we might just be annoying JB.  I say, if we can justify it, then OK!  I'll have a plot and or script for you in a  few days.  Otherwise... off to the fan-fic boards with all of us.

Thanks for the kind words, Mark!

Mike & James, it would be cool to see another project like you both describe, though I agree that the Fanfic area might be a more appropriate place for it. The Marvel "Giant-Size" comics usually only had one original story, with the rest of the comic being made up of reprints and pin-ups.

I think a 1960s' era "Fantastic Four" story would be fun.

Kudos to everyone who worked on that. Looked very nice although the cover could have been a bit better. But again kudos to you all.

All of the people that worked on this deserve a great big "Thumbs Up!!!!". I have the Comics Interview that this was printed in and I always wondered how it would look colored and inked. Now I know.

GAVIN!!!! Welcome to the boards!!

Hey, everybody, it's Groovy Gavin Eddings, who reviewed movies for me on my public access show, "The HAPPY SHOW!," and on his own blog ( http://www.gavinsgarage.blogspot.com/ ). Gavin, feel free to keep on posting!

Thanks for the kind words, Thomas! I got the whole idea for a challenge when I saw that there was an entire story by JB in pencils, exactly because I wanted to see the finished product and I knew that JB wouldn't have the time to mess with it. He graciously allowed the artistic members of the board to finish it as part of the challenge. I'm was happy to see how many of my fellow artists on the board answered the challenge and produced such fine work.

Thanks for the warm welcome Matt. So far I like this place. People actually converse in intelligent discussion on this board which is lacking from most boards. Oh and the website plug is always appreciated.

So, Mike, are you going to write that other "Fantastic Four" story?
