No, "Giant-Size Super-Stars featuring the Fantastic Four" #1 was not a Silver-Age comic. I believe it was published in 1974. There was never an official "Giant-Size Fantastic Four" #1, as the "G-S FF" series continued its' numbering from the "Super-Stars" issue. For the sake of our imaginary #1, the conceit is that it really was the first issue of "G-S FF," and that "Super-Stars" was a stand-alone issue.

When I get a chance, I think I'll correct the errors that Eric and Zoran mentioned. I would also like to retitle the story as JB suggested. I don't have F. Ron's font, but I may go ahead and redo it, and let him change it to the font he used when he returns.
Edited to add: Oh, and Zoran, you get a no-prize, too! :-)
(Somebody has to hand them out since Marvel doesn't do that any longer... )

Eric, Zoran, Ed, and Ian, thanks for your proofreading skills! I have went back and fixed the problems mentioned. Everyone may want to refresh their pages, and clean their browser cache, to see the updated pages with the corrections.
JB, I switched the story's title to the one you suggested. I was able to find a font very similar to what F. Ron used.
Hopefully, we caught all the typo's.

Let me add, once again, what a pleasure it was to work on a JB story. I can't express how honored I was to script this... but wait and see, someday DC'll wise up and hire me to script more of his stuff...
(Funny story - I was this close [----><----] to getting hired by DC a few years ago - my "Ricketts" script that a few of you have seen was supposed to be Darick Robertson's follow up to Transmet... but... always get it in writing, I guess... still, I got a free diner on DC out of it...)

Mike why don't you try and write a ff tale and see if we can come up with a backup story? i know JB is busy but i'm sure Darren Taylor could pencil up some pages if he's not to busy. thats if John thinks it's ok.We could throw about some story ideas. What do you think.
