This is for Peter Hicks. I went to my LCS today and had them back order me a copy of WE3 #1 and 2. Both are in stock and I should have them in a week or two. I keep you posted as soon as I get them.

Both issues! Wow. I guess that obligates me to read DP 7 and DP 8.

Mark McKay,
I picked up #7 today. I'll post my review after I've had a chance to read it.

Alrighty then. I think I am gonna get Tom Strong 29

Coolness. I guess in fairness I should buy DP7 and
DP8 (a two-part story as well, right?).
I'll be very interested to hear what you think of the TS
issues! Now I have to get to the store soon to buy
issue 30 so that I'm on the same page as you when
the time comes to compare notes!

Thomas Mets, my LCS is fresh out of Ultimates 2 #1. Any other suggestions?

Okay I am a Connor Hawke fan... known as ConnorFan over at GeoffJohns's website as well as over at the DCMB and I pledge to buy a DP title if someone will pick up Richard Dragon 11 which features Connor on the cover. Its the March issue so I will pick up the march issue of doom patrol. I personally cant get enough of the cover. :)

Ultimates 2 #2 when it comes out, Captain America Vol. 5 #2, Marvel Knights Spider-Man #9, Ex Machina #7, or Wolverine #23 (or the $4 "Must-Have" collection with 20-22) are pretty good. However as I'm sure you tried to get a copy of Ultimates 2 I absolve you of your promise to check out any new books.
PS- If you get the Wolverine "Must-Have" I'll agree to buy Doom Patrol #8 when it comes out.

Hey Richard, why not suggest a book as well , as a sort of "retro-swap" ? |

I was going to choose between Blood of the Demon and Doom Patrol as my JB DC book, but as I'll be buying DP for my son, I'll buy the Demon for myself (doesn't look suitable for a nine-year old!) First time I'll have bought two DC series regularly since JB was on Superman and Action.

Good to know, Richard. But what I meant was, can you suggest a non-JB
title to us to try? What is your favorite book that is not getting
enough attention? (since you are buying DP anyways.)

May I suggest that you decide whether DP #7 was good enough for you to read the book regularly before making that offer, Thomas?

While I applaud the effort to spread the word (keep it up Joe), I can't help thinking that it's odd that there are people posting on this forum that have not read at least 1 issue of Doom Patrol yet. It shouldn't take a "deal" to get people around here interested in at least checking it out, IMHO. But if that's what it takes....What's behind door number 3, Monty?
