What makes it so bad is that what I've seen of the new GREEN ARROW art is actually pretty decent!

Hi, just checking in to say that while i have not yet been able to visit my shop and pick up DP yet, i intend to still.

A quick question - someone mentioned the start of a new DP storyline with a guest star - i forget the details - as a good jumping on point. Is that the issue already in the stores these past weeks or should i hang on until the next issue?

Thanks.

Jason, I believe next week's issue #9 is the one with the guest star.

Well I may be forced to cancel the promotional deal due to Green Arrow.

That's too bad Chris. You must be one of those cool retailers who don't require customers to continue buying a title two or three months after they have dropped it from the pull.

Yeah, recently I've been trying to buy the next couple issues of a series after I take it off my pull list. I did it recently with S/B and Outsiders. Although I don't see myself doing it with Green Arrow. Although it's not the art that's making me flee the book, though it didn't make the decision any harder to drop it.

exactly BT.....oh and by the way, THE SWAP IS ON  I'm just selling at regular price.  Blame it on Fowler and Winnick.  send angry letters and say get fowler off the book and put Christos Gage on as writer with the whole Deadshot crew on editing and art.  So I'll still allow poeple to write down their swap comic and post them here.  we alredy have 3.  we have Invincible (not liek that book needs any help)  JLA CLassified (I miss sue *little tear* John needs to write an arc from the sattelite era so we can have more Sue Dibbers)  and last of all is New Thunderbolts.  I'll post their reviews as I get them in or they will post them here themselves as I left the link

Hey ! Put me down for an issue of the Invincibles !

Guys, if we can participate fully with Chris' customers, perhaps we can get other retailers in on this. Ultimately its the retailer level that makes all the difference, because its where all the fans are at. Those of us on the boards are a small minority (thank goodness!)

I would jump back on GA in a heartbeat if Gage was on it.

And I would argue that Invincible does need the help. It sells drastically less then the other two you mentioned. And less than half of what Spawn sells.

I'm loving the Deadshot mini too. DC's villains are becoming more and more interesting.

BTW Brian, any word when your article is coming out? *winks conspiratorially*

I like the new Green Arrow art and I think Winnick is improving as GA writer.  Good luck selling that.
