Mr. Rodriguez - thanks so much for participating. I really hope your Starkweather fan "Tinkerbell" gets a chance to sign up here and get your comic into the swap.
Tomas - just in case Tim doesn't get back to you in time, DP #7 is a very good recent issue. Issue #8, the conclusion of the story that started in #7, comes out tomorrow too.

Tomas, issue 7 ("Who Are... The Devolutionists?") is a fine suggestion indeed. But if your shop has it, try issue #5 ("Hearts of Steel"). And I have a request - when you're done, check out the pencils for the issue in the gallery. Not a requirement for teh swap, it's just a really fun part about this website.
I haven't read She-Hulk in years - I am stoked to check it out.
Dave R - great honest insight into this first three issues. I am so glad you gave it a try. I asked for Starkweather, but they didn't have it at the small shop I visited near work. Golden Apple must have it (paging F. Ron - have you seen it there?)

Tomas, go to the main page of this site, then click the "Pencil Scans" button. Then choose "Doom Patrol" as a title and find the issue you're looking for. It's more fun if you read the issue first, as that's the medium it was created for.

Thanks a lot.
What issue of She-Hulk are u planning in getting?
9 and 10 are my favorite of the run so far (9 being the first issue of
the Titania arc, but the issue in itself is a backstory and fleshing
out of the character...very well written IMO )

I was going to grab whatever was there! I've been working late and unable to visit my home neighborhood haunt, so I've been tomcatting around to different comic shops. I'm never quite sure what will turn up. I will certainly try She-Hulk 9 & 10 if I can find them. I am always game for suggestions and appreciate that you asked what everyone thought would be good issue to try.

hi, i actually came here for the swap but i got sidetracked. i wish i
had seen this a few months back: i would have recommended Madrox.
as far as things which could use a broader audience, how about Adam Strange?

Hi Alex. We just started this last week, so you really didn't miss out on anything.
Adam Strange, that's a book that has had nothing but good buzz. Gorgeous, shot-from-pencils art. Let's go for this, guys!

Alex, I haven't read any of the ADAM STRANGE books. I'm headed to the comic shop today. If you'll pick up DOOM PATROL #s 7 and 8, I'll pick up two issues (#s 1 & 2?) of ADAM STRANGE. (Please see my previous post concerning reviews.)

Is there anything else I need to pick up at the comic shop today to get someone to try DP?
I like "regular guy" type comic books. I dislike gore, bad language, kiddie proto-porn, and post modernism.
