I read the JLA issues w/Doom Patrol.  I'll give it a try.  Anyone want to pick up Hawkman?

Here's an interview with the current creative team of Hawkman:

This week's issue #36 features Deadman, which may of interest to Neal Adams fans here:

As agreed I picked up Hard Time #12.

It was a little hard to get into, it seemed to be a payoff issue for previous threads that I was unfamiliar with but it still presented an engaging story and explained enough to follow along.  I really don't get into these type of "gritty reality" comics but I felt the writing was very good and the art was fair.  Even though it was the "last" issue of an arc I will probably give the next issue a try to see if the writing holds up.  I put this into the "Walking Dead" category of comics that are very well done just not my cup of tea.

Hey Joe put me down for the Manhunter swap. I'll go look for the most recent issue this week.

After thoughts :

I'll buy either Manhunter #6 or Hawkman #36, depending on their availability.

I'll post my impressions this week-end.

F.

If you still need another person for Marc Andreyko's MANHUNTER/DP swap, just let me know.  I'll see what issue of MANHUNTER (I've never read it, 'natch) is available at the shop this week.

Matt - cool ! Counting you we need only one or two more participants, depending on what comes Fabrice's way.

Bart - welcome , and please check out the other threads. You might just find it as interesting and fun as GJ.com .

Jacob Secrest - I'm on board for Mary Jane. I enjoyed the author's early Indy book A Waiting Place years ago, and look forward to this one.

Hawkman #34 or 35 might be better than #36. #34 is a prelude to the current story and #35 is the first part.

Mike, including you we have seven readers for Manhunter. Here's hoping Mr. Marc Andreyko will enjoy Doom Patrol.

Edited to substitute "Manhunter" for "Doom Patrol"~Matt
