I PM'd the guy about the swap already. He should be replying any moment. Also, I'll try to get the guy registered here. I hope Jeff Fettes will allow an exception for a Yahoo account.

One more "proxy trade" from another member of the Geoff Johns board !
Mr. James Hunter would like you to consider these fine titles from the House of Ideas:
Spider-Girl
Marvel Team-Up
The latter is written by Jason Kirkman (there's that name again) and pencilled by Scott Kolins of Flash fame.

Brian Miller, your swap partner says that he is on for the trade. Hopefully he will be able to personally post here later.

Here are my impressions from "Dragon Ball" volume 1, a Manga by Akira Toriyama.
I know I really like a book when I catch myself unconsciously smiling while reading, and this book certainly made me grin.
Dragon Ball is a little hard to describe. To explain every detail would be reading too deeply the madcap humor of this first volume. It's closest American counterparts would probably be Sergio Aragones' Groo, where the heroes travel across a fantasy world encountering colorful characters and hijinks, and the indy book Liberty Meadows with its satirical sexual humor. Dragon Ball is definitely not for kids ; the target audience of this first book is probably for adolescents. But even as a thirtysomething I find this book really fun and charming. I want to read more about the naive yet powerful Goku, the flirtatious and manipulative Bulma, the lecherous talking pig Oolong.
Thanks to Victor for a great suggestion ! I certainly will pick up subsequent volumes as my budget allows (and large stacks of Dragon Ball is readily available in almost all bookshops where I am.)

That's Robert Kirkman.
I believe SAHawkman was also looking for support for G.I. Joe, but it looks like he already arranged a swap.

And yet another swap by proxy from the Geoff Johns board, this one from Mr. Bruce Pristine. He would like one of us to try one of the following:
Fallen Angel #19 , out this March. Bruce would prefer us exchanging for this.
Aquaman
Manhunter

Just wanted to let my swap guy know that I bought Ultimates 2 #2 this week. I haven't read it yet, as I my shop is supposedly getting re-orders of #1, so I'd like to read them in order, if possible.

Fair enough. G.I. Joe was included in the list he gave me. The important thing is that he agreed to a swap!!

Excellent. Let him know it may take a few weeks for me to get the TPB. I don't have a LCS and get my stuff from an online service. I will check around and see where I can get it the quickest.
