Not much chance of us seeing much more of Control after this, huh? --- Time travel is involved, so depending on how JB chooses to handle things, anyone from the series could make an appearance.

That sounds cool and ominous at the same time.

As much as I am tempted to speculate, I surmise that JB prefers that we do not, insofar as our speculations may prove to be accurate thus spoiler-ish.

The curiosity is killing me on this one. I have fond nostalgia for all the waiting and wondering about what would come the following month in my favorite comic books. I talk about these as The Good Old Days. What was I thinking? This is torture! I want my instant gratification, and I want it now!

But just because Hilltop ends up in part of Sathanas old exoskeleton (the legs were added toward the end) doesn't mean it could all eventually be replaced until we get the handsome fellow of 2112.

In fact I mentioned the "never-ending time travel of Sathanas's armor" because I thought that Sathanas was caught up in a time loop he could never escape from: forced to make sure his younger self Aldus sort of HAD to become Sathanas. Any other choice would lead to Sathanas' future non-existence hence no Next Men hence no Sathanas hence no Next Men... Or am i being too linear again ? :-)

Let's just say you guys are straying dangerously close to some of the elements I am exploring in this revival.Time is an illusion -- lunchtime, doubly so. - Ford Prefect

Back to Jack . . . I have yet to go back and re-read the Jack's last real character arc. (Please excuse my use of the term.) But, if I recall correctly, we have yet to see the full outcome of how Jack changes as a result of his conversion to Christianity. In the past, a lot of Jack's life has been about pleasure. Jack's story is about how that pleasure becomes missing in his life. I see a significant part of his conversion to Christianity as Atonement for the crimes he has committed and the people he has hurt. In the "A.F.A.T.H." columns during the "Lies" Run, several people commented on Jack's Re-imagining of the Jesus story, which I have yet to re-read. I guess I am wondering, does Jack take Joy out of life from feeling that he now has a mission, a purpose? And, does he use his special abilities in a planned and willful way to carry out his newfound mission and purpose?
