Vinny, I´ve been tracking the new JB releases via mycomicshop.com. Basically, I add the upcoming titles to my Want List and get notified when they´re available. There´s probably a pull list thing, but because I have to pay for overseas shipping, I prefer to gather a stack of back issues before pulling the trigger each time.

Third cover done!
++++++++

The JBF is already as agitated as a tankful of piranhas and the blood keeps dripping on the water!

I know I'm only speaking for myself but..
No more previews please...I don't want to know or see anything more until Nextmen 31(1) is in my hand. Ok I'll just have to ignore this thread but it's more difficult if I know it's there.

Trust me, Philippe -- the preview pages and covers have told you NOTHING about what the first story arc contains!!

BWAH-HA-HA-HA-HA!!!!!!!

Sounds good.

I read the original series spoiler-free two years ago, and I'd like to keep that going with the new one!

BTW -- Chris Ryall and I have agreed upon a fiendishly clever way to resolve the Issue 1? Issue 31? problem. It will only work for the first nine issues, but by then everybody should have gotten the point, right?

JB,

I want to compliment you on the nature scene on the bottom of the prieview page.  Nicely done.

I hope the colorist will be "none."

My favorite 90s comic series turning heavily towards my favorite sci-fi theme? The hell with waiting for trades.

I have a question on the issue of numbering the series.

Towards the end of the original run, the issue number on the cover was listed along with the number in the arc of of the current story - for example, issue 29 was marked "JBNM #29, LIES  3 of 4" to indicate it was the third issue in the "Lies" story

This was the first I had seen mini-series' marked as such, and it looks like it continues today with the "Hellboy" books, which was also a Legend title.

Was "JB's Next Men" first out the gate in doing this?

••

I doubt it, but off the top of my head I can't think of who was there before me!
