Most excellent - great idea going for something especially eye-catching for their (re-)debut to really stand out in the comic shops.

I thought the ad from the SDCC was the actual cover for JBNM 31!

The 'actual' covers for JBNM 31 & 32 R O C K !!!

Thanks for sharing John. Usually I hate any kind of spoilers but when I've been waiting for 16 years for my favorite series to come back (ask my friends if I'm lying) I'm always willing to make an exception!

Yes -- I wanted something that would essentially leap off the stands --- assuming we don't have to deal with too many retailers who, like last time, put NEXT MEN in the back of the shop, with the porn, because of its "Mature Readers" advisory.

Covers look great JB. I can't wait to read these. Also on the last
interior preview page, the last panel has an elegance about it I really
enjoy.

Thanks! I have often noted that the stuff / enjoy in my own work is very often not the same stuff the fans enjoy. This may be such an instance. That is, without a doubt, one of my all-time favorites of my own panels.

Wow!  Seeing the covers really hits home the fact that this is really happening!  We are getting more NEXT MEN and I couldn't be happier.

JB - How is the NEXT MEN schedule going?  I remember you saying earlier that you were behind your comfort level as far as the schedule (and not of your own doing I don't think).  Have you been able to catch up some?

Yeah, I got out of kilter because I thought the JURASSIC PARK stuff was due before the NEXT MEN. Anyway, barring unforeseen disasters, I should finish the first issue tomorrow, which puts me about a week ahead of IDW's schedule. Usually I prefer to be at least a month ahead, which is about where I should land with the second issue!

Gorgeous covers, JB. I'd absolutely love for this book to be in b&w. I assume IDW will be releasing future Compleat volumes after you have more issues completed/sold. Looking forward to continuing the journey with these characters. Keep us guessing...love it.

I loved all of the logos that you did for Next Men JB but I think the one you're using for placement is probably the best.

Just wondering if you were planning on doing a new one for the relaunch because I always love the way you think logos through and even though I love this one I think it would be cool to see something new as well.
