Finally got the cover for the first/thirty-first issue done this morning! Took FOREVER to come up with something that would work as a "motif" for the first story arc.I will let IDW preview the piece, along with the second, which I will be starting in a few minutes. This kind makes it all feel "real", tho, even more than working on new interior pages. Especially having mocked up a version with the logo, for my own amusement.

The pages you've shared with us so far have all looked great, JB! It's exciting to think new issues of "Next Men" are on the way.

Richard Bradford (the cop friend of Sean Connery in The Untouchables!) sort of reminds me of Albert Finney in the picture JB posted in the previous page. Could Finney work as Hiltop, JB

I've also mentioned Finney as a possible Hilltop, yes.

JB, This weeks Diamond Previews has the Next Men 1 solicitation. The information mentions a retailer incentive sketched edition. Can you provide any info on this?

With the permission of Chris Ryall, covers to 31/1 and 32/2…

They will be predominantly black and white, with only muted colors on the figures. As usual, the logos are only for placement.
