I think I definitely owe Chris Ryall a beer for his persistence.  JB since you are the one doing all of it I guess I owe you whatever food and drink items you would like.  Sprinkle in a few commission requests as well.

I can't overstate how excited I am! One of my all-time favorite series. JBNM's return will get me buying comics again! I was trying to remember the last comic I bought and came up empty. It might have been as far back as 2002.

While I discontinued reading JB's NEXT MEN after a few issues when it
first shipped, I'm looking forward to him returning to the artistic
style he had at that time. I've also missed his computer lettering.
Should be fun.

I just want to know how I didn't know about this ahead of
Comic-Con. What the heck are my JBF dues going toward,
anyway?

It's good to hear that you are looking at the earlier JBNM issues as your style guide....they happen to be amongst my favorite issues of yours...LOVED the brush work. I was a bit disappointed once you started using what appeared to be a crowquill pen. So, needless to say, I hope will you consider tackling this with a brush again!

Oh, and I echo the earlier comments hoping to see you letter your work again. As for colors, if Matt Webb is not available, I hope Lovern's on your candidate list!

It is hard to believe how long ago the Next Men series actually ran, but I've re-read those issues so many times, that it also seems like it was just yesterday.

Hearing this news gave me one of the biggest smiles that I've had in sometime.

Thanks, JB!  I really look forward to seeing what comes next with the gang.

Fortunately, the NEXT MEN are lost in time, so this almost 20-year hiatus is almost unnoticeable to them!

I took a look at the list, thought "Avenger's cast is gonna take this" then clicked on their link to the votes so far.

That's the only problem with making big announcements at Comic-Con. You have to compete with those pesky motion pictures hoggin up all the headlines.
