Aaargh! I got up, went to my LCS's website to see what time they open..........and they've closed the store! Shows how often I go anymore. I don't think I'd been there since McCoy 4.

 Must find new LCS now!

This post made me laugh a little, posted anywhere but a "Next Men" comic thread, it takes on a whole new meaning.  LOL

I, however, will not be able to hold a new Next Men until my online shipment arrives.  I stopped by the LCS where I recently canceled my pull since I am moving, and discovered they only ordered copies for pulls and none for the shelf.  I told the owner he was a bit of a fool considering IDW was advertising the hell out of the book, he was bound to sell a few copies off the rack but by ordering none he guarantees that he sells none -- hence fulfilling his personal belief that Byrne doesn't sell books anymore.  ALso, IDW was offering (through Diamond) cost breaks on initial orders of #1, in an effort to get more copies out there on shelves at less risk to LCS owners.

A fool.
