JB - now that you're a few issues in, do you have any better sense of how many issues it'll take to finish things off?

VERY excited about this!

I feel so spoiled, since I've only had to wait two years (since I first read the original series), whereas many of you guys have had to wait almost two decades!

And if dunno if this has been raised--but will the new series have the same tonality in terms of the "adult" content (swearing, violence, sex, etc.)?  I presume this is still a "mature readers" book, yes?

One of the things I loved about the original series is that it was a sci-fi series aimed at mature readers, with the "adult" content worked in for realism, not shock value. Very refreshing, compared to a lot of the overly salacious and nasty "mature" books out there!

••

Maybe even moreso. The team members (including Tony) will be finding themselves in some very, very nasty places. Lethally so in one case.

I have to cancel my lunch for tomorrow - I'm not feeling well.

I have Next Men fever and must see a comic shop immediately

"Doctor"!  I meant to say "doctor"!

I share your pain, Joss... I hope I will get my copy this Saturday morning in spite of this snow business...

I am so glad JB is back on Next Men ! We just had to wait 15 years to read the continuation of the story.

I was just wondering one thing : if there wasn't Internet and therefore is this forum did not exist, we, JB's fans, would not share "this place" to maintain the buzz around this title (the lattest issue was published 15 years ago!).

Would IDW have relaunched it without this forum?  I know IDW decided to relaunch JBNM because the sales of the reprint were good, but I doubt they would have done this if they hadn't realize there was still a buzz around this title, thanks to this forum and the Internet.

What do you people think about this ? Do you think that we, fans, have the "power" to bring cancelled title back to life ? Do you think that we could bring Danger Unlimited or Xmen Hidden Years back ?
