What sort of sketch can I expect John? A bust? Thanks and good luck for the 120 sketches mission.

Does anyone remember the JASMINE sketch Mr. Byrne did for a fan for 20 bucks displayed on youtube? I'm looking forward to seeing what comes out of these pieces. 120 sketches? Phew! It would be fun if Mr. Byrne did a Next Men piece similar to his OHOTMU covers he did years ago.

It's been 24 hours, I'm wondering if JBs hand has fallen off yet.

Anyone else noticed the recurring "injury-to-the-hand" motif in Next Men?

Great homework Pedro. I never noticed it before. A metaphor of how JB felt after working for DC and MARVEL for so long?

Hmm… 31 published issues, 22 pages each, roughly five panels per page. That's over 3400 individual panels. I'm not sure 4 count as a "motif" -- even if there IS one in the new first issue, too!

Anyone else noticed the recurring "injury-to-the-hand" motif in Next Men? *** And the guy grabbing Bethany's hair in the bar. Does that one count?

As long as Jazz's hands aren't hurt, I'm okay if it does turn out to be a motif...

Don't forget the guy's hand who grabbed Bethany's hair. Ouch.

Motif or not, it's a visceral visual. Not too horrifying, but scary enough to make you wince.

What about the one when "Hercules" picks her up by her hair? Now that was a good one.
