I'm just gonna have to read each new issue as it comes out, then reread the entire epic from the start when I get the chance! I won't be able to wait until I can sit down and re-read the original series!

Matt: Another reason why I'm loving the TBP that IDW has published.  JBNM looks beautiful in B&W and they have the MIV backups.  Can't imagine what pinhead didn't think a consumer would need that story as context to the larger whole.

---

That said, I kinda feel like IDW may have "dropped the ball" as well. 2112 was reprinted as part of IDW's Compleat Editions... but was not found in the Premiere Editions. I imagine there are people out there that are only buying the Premieres -- and missing out on 21112.

...or am I missing something? Maybe there is a plan to put 2112 in a later Premiere collection?

WHOO - HOO !!!!

Here is my other burning question, after Re-reading # 30 again, soon to go on to # 29 ( I recommend reading the issues in reverse order at least once, it makes me appreciate some of the set-up that I missed originally when I read an issue with a "reveal" ) , which will, no doubt, be answered, in the fullness of time:

Who is Tony's mysterious rescuer?   Who does he work for?   And what is his relationship to the mysterious being in the armor?   (Not mysterious to me, because I think I have it figured out!)

By now everybody knows that the mysterious being in armor is none other than JB himself (or the Spirit of Christmas Future depending on the source) who travelled back in time to December 1994 in order to rescue the Next Men and bring them into their own brand-new title on December 2010. Obviously, Tony's mysterious rescuer is his little helper.

Seriously, read #27:  the guy's name is Jensen and it seemed like he was one of Hilltop's top security men. I never thought he had any relation to the mysterious being in the armor...

I thought Tony doesn't recognize him.   Seems like she would know who all the top people in Control's organization are.

My theory is, edited to remove speculation which I should not have posted because I am a dolt.

Francis - you seem to be ignoring very cordial requests to stop speculating.  Are you having trouble comprehending because possibly you are reading posts backwards like you are reading the issues?  If so....

!off it knock

It's understandable, Francis -- we are all really excited. Thank you for holding back for awhile.
