This thread is a joy!

Seriously -- to be talking about NEXT MEN again after fifteen years?  I'm GIDDY when I read this thread, everytime we see some cover or page or get some cryptic hint...

I can't tell you how many people I've turned on to this series over the years.  I've loaned the trades out so many times -- but I always wondered, why weren't Mark & Amanda's story included in the trades?

Dark Horse dropped the ball. To put it as politely as possible.

I still flash to anger (diminished by the years, fortunately, or I'd have had a stroke by now) when I recall getting my advance copies of the trades and finding MIV was not included. When I called Dark Horse to ask WTF, the response was "Oh, did you want those in there?"

sigh

Another reason why I'm loving the TBP that IDW has published.  JBNM looks beautiful in B&W and they have the MIV backups.  Can't imagine what pinhead didn't think a consumer would need that story as context to the larger whole.

Thanks for the link, Pedro. Nice interview. I'm really excited that the book is right around the corner.
