Ted, sorry to hear about your comic shop canceling your order. I know Diamond does have a cut off time for their pre-orders. Maybe with this being such a rare thing they cut it off earlier than usual. I know how excited you were about getting one when we talked recently. My belief is that this book will be a hot item on eBay when it is released. Hopefully you'll be able to find one for around the same price your LCS offered it at.

Should we be getting an email notification once the sketch cover comes out (if ordered) ? Thanks

I'm assuming if you asked your LCS for an email they will send you one. I don't think IDW or any online place is going to send you a personal email for one comic.

yeah -- not sure about the sketch cover myself -- I ordered it from DCBS and they've charged me for it, but after I ordered it they took down the solicitation for it.  Maybe I got in under the buzzer, not sure.

From the IDW february solicitations, the colored cover to Next Men 3 So far the covers look incredible and Rhonda Pattison's doing a really good job. I hope  the interior colors will follow this minimalistic desaturated look.

They do. Very unintrusive colors.

I see my name has slipped in under the IDW bullet. Chris Ryall and I had agreed that was not needed, with my name actually part of the logo!

Time for a quick note to Chris!

That cover looks really nice. I'm looking forward to this new series very much.

Just curious JB, after you've told your Next Men story, any other original comicbook stories percolating that you'd like to start next?

I'd like to say how much I'm enjoying this phase of your career, JB. All the Star Trek and Angel stories this last couple of years I've really enjoyed, and along with the commissions it's been enjoyable to read and see comics I like. Continued success!

That cover for # (3)3 could well turn out to be my favourite of the whole series !
