Seeing all these pictures of Galactus just reinforces just how great Kirby's sense of design was.

All you need to do is add either the helmet fins or the purple and blue color scheme to ANY character, and you immediately think of the big guy. 

On that note, who colored FF #48?

BTW, my all time favorite Galactus pictures have to be from PARABLE with Galactus forming from pure energy and looking like solid rock in close up, courtesy of Moebius:

I thought the HERCULES: PRINCE OF POWER series was awesome.  Some wonderful Bob Layton work there.
