I always thought it would be a cool "what if?" to have Peter Parker get zapped into the DCU for a year of publishing time.

All Spider-Man comics take place in the DCU for one year. No supporting cast carries over - Peter Parker alone in the DCU. Does he wind up with Superman in Metropolis? Batman in Gotham? How does he get home? Who does he trust, and who would trust him? Would Jimmy Olsen always beat him to the punch getting shots of Spider-Man? Does he tick off Batman by getting a shot of him for the Gotham Gazette?

How would he interact with different characters and groups? Would he be closer to peers like Wally West and Dick Grayson or would he hang out more with old timers like Alan Scott and Jay Garrick because they remind him of guys like Cap and Reed Richards? Would he and Beast Boy trade barbs like he does with Johnny Storm? I figure it'd be a good excuse to make him a little more social - he needs a way home, obviously the JLA/JSA/LEGION/some group would have to get involved to make that happen.

Would Amanda Waller send the Suicide Squad after him because he stumbles onto something? Could he take down Sinestro? How cool would a team up with Ted Kord be? Would Ray Palmer and John Henry Irons chat him up all day about his web-fluid? What if he went on a date with Barbara Gordon?

I'm not sure if it was fact or rumor, but back when Marvel & DC were doing those Marvel vs. DC/DC vs. Marvel crossovers I read that they had planned to swap two characters for a year but the lawyers put the kibosh on it as it would have been a legal nightmare.

Send the Scarlet Witch to DC and give her Zatanna's fishnets; then send Zatanna to Marvel and give her Wanda's sunburn nude stockings!  EVERYBODY wins!
