When is your son's comics hitting the shelves Jodi? Please tell him to draw something nice and fun about elves in a magic forest and not just violence that kids read these days.

Lars we are just hoping this works into a paid job, he isn't an artist, he is a writer. If it is any help on getting back to the great days of comics, while he enjoys a lot of the new stuff, he feels the older stuff pretty much ruled. He thinks Byrnes run on FF was amazing.

Jodi, I have been a comic book writer too. I had just read Byrne's FF when I got the job. I would recommend that he reads NM letter columns, JB's foreword in the Man of Steel Mini paperbacks and of course browses JB's advice here and he will make it, I'm sure.

THE SKY IS FALLING, THE SKY IS FALLING!!!

After reading this thread and other threads like this around the web, I can't help but think... The above phrase applies to the majority of posts that I've read. All of the speculating to me seems a bit premature. I prefer to adopt "A Wait and See" Attitude.

Jodi , that's a good pic. I had never seen Marvel's offices. Probably I passed near it when I visited New York 9 years ago, but I don't remember it.

That's awesome Jodi wish him good luck for me, hopefully the good comic writing only skipped a generation and we can get a fresh crop of young people who actually appreciate and want to do good story telling.
