Pedro, I am following Maurício de Souza on twitter and I asked him about his opinion on the Marvel/DC deal, and if he is publishing his comics only because of love for them, and his answer was that 2 million comic books is still good enough to keep the business. Of course that we could not compare that to the situation Disney/Marvel, but there are some people (like Mauricio) that believe that Marvel / Disney are going to work out and the comic books are safe. We will have to wait and see.

Here's a thought.  If Disney gets rid of the Marvel publishing branch, DC will be the top seller of comic books.

I think the industry as we know it might collapse, so they may go under as well if Disney takes Marvel out of the game.

If we're lucky, it will be Hannah Montana vs The Punisher.

Damn you, Stephen.  Now I don't know who to root for, as I'd love to see both characters eradicated.

I think that if Disney license Marvel Characters for a Comic Book Publish house (like Panini) it might not be a bad idea. Maybe the "all ages" concept might come back to the stands...

Weird... they don't go the other way around... like the Thing in a goofy costume or something like that...
