There's a difference between trolling and only posting when something bothers you.

This is why you fall for things that Larsen says... no ability to think
outside the box.... believe everything you are told, take everything at face
value....

maybe, just maybe, I have posted here before... get a clue dude.

I will back off this thread unless Larsen comes back with some poorly
thought out "excuse" for posting here.

EL On JBF: this is a great site, with comic loving fans... no BS

EL on Erik's board: posting on JB is pointless, JB is flawed, deletes posts,
etc... horrible experience....

So which is it Larsen?"

It's both. It's pointless when threads get deleted and locked-- it's
not when fans are allowed to discuss things at length and hash things
out. That having been said--I think I'm done here. As interesting as a lot
of it has been--the paranoia and vitriol is wearing thin.

there is a difference between being a JB fan who has occasionally disagrees with others and coming here specifically to manufacture "bad JB" stories and perpetuate a reputation that JB and JBFers are maniacs!

Maybe, I went over the top reacting to Larsen... visiting his site, copying posts, but enough is enough.

Larsen came here and debated for the 1000th time the history of Image, how Savage Dragon is not a knockoff etc... he tried to stir the pot with his "I wish JB would create a GOOD original superhero book," he now has spoken on the "older stuff is better" topic.

The "i wish JB would do something good" post was probably crowning achievement here.... comes across as the nice guy, JB fan when in reality he was lambasting all of JB's current output.... the common thread, Larsen cleverly commenting that JB's older stuff was better (in larsen's opinion presented as fact, of course).

Why can't you guys see the level of disrespect that EL is lobbing at JB and this forum? I'd really rather just talk about comics....

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

JB asked on the previous page for examples of deleted posts.... evidence please?

So posting here was actually a self-sacrificing move you decided to make for what? The better of JB fans everywhere?

You have had to put up with deleted posts, a flawed/biased host, paranoid/criticizing fans, but (as the ultimate good guy that you are!) you bore that responsiblity for what, the greater glory of internet posting?

or maybe, just maybe, you can walk away (since you won't be banned) with at least a bad Byrne fan story if not somehow constructing a bad Byrne story...

You say its "both" but it really can't be..... that just doesn't make sense! Or maybe I am just being paranoid again....

If only your half hearted, open ended "I may be done here" was a true fare thee well.... but you can't even storm off with your "bad Byrne" story correctly! Or maybe I am just being absuive to poor EL again!

The guy is the ultimate sob story!

You sure about that... discussing my first comic in one thread, Trevor's incredible efforts to complete JB year 1-34 in another, and politely debating with Eric White and a couple others the merits of Geoff Johns current work in yet another thread....

yes, this one thread got under my skin... it is what it is/

what i like about that piece is that it is clearly superhero... costume, muscles.... but there is something strangely realistic about it.

Like the Frank Quitely thread, I think JB has made this look realistic without drawing seams, zippers and wrinkled fabric.

maybe its the exposed neck that is creating that look of reality.

wait until you guys see the GL I am saving up for... I was going to go for the basic shot, that I can afford, but I decided to save a little longer and do it right... get a full size image with a bunch of GLS.... fingers crossed for this year... that I can afford it at a time when JB is taking on commissions....
