Shit, he could even use this out-of-continuity title to do his Generations Batman & Robin.  But then again, Ari's head might explode.

It is kind of odd how this title has become an almost spin off of Miller's Dark Knight universe rather than just an iconic Batman take. I can stomach most of his Batman scenes but the ones with the JLA in it, it just ends up screaming this isn't actually DC but just one of those 52 afterbirths where things are even worse than they are here. And as a trip[ into Miller's Dark Knightverse, the language is fine, the book needed to be for adults before it was ever sold IMHO.

<<<I think the hardcover reprints #1-9. >>>

You're right, Ted. I stand corrected. Which means that the Volume 2
hardcover is going to be REALLY short, or it means that Miller and Lee will
most certainly NOT finish the story in #12, but rather in #18.

Which in turn means that with regard to the completion of this project, DC is
pretty well f&*$ed.

I'm sure I read somewhere, a while back, that Miller and Lee were planning to go into the 20's on the book, in terms of issue numbers.

Editor: "Don't push it so hard, Frank."

Miller: "Get back there! This is my boat! I break the engine! I break it!"

Questions for JB, as he's "in the know," at least to some degree...

Your questions probe into areas about which I know nothing.

Long time since I read it, but I don't recall any cussing in DKR.

For the record, the "corrected" version isn't supposed to be considered a second printing. Speculators will probably treat it as such, but it's not supposed to be.

Also, I recalled hearing a month or two ago that that the series is going to be put on hiatus indefinitely because of Miller and Lee's other commitments, or somesuch story. Does anyone else recall that news?

How can it possibly be anything else?? Heck, technically it's a reprint!

Remember when Jack Kirby was drawing half the Marvel line, so some of
them had to go on indefinite hiatus?

You DON'T?
