Now, who can tell us why all this places the Awesome Android at
something of a disadvantage?

--------

He's just a distraction until the Super Adaptoid shows.

Well, couldn't the Android absorb powers if he touched someone (like The
Thing)- powered suits would prevent that from happening.

Also, wasn't his shut-off switch under his armpit?

Great work!

Thanks for the info, Kevin. Now I'm even more interested in the characters.

Anybody have any insight into the probability that T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents would get the Showcase treatment? Or do I "need" to go the Archive route?

I just got my first batch from Jim.  It had this one, the Alpha Flight piece as well as the Captain Canuck / Red Skull piece.

JB, I just wanted to say thanks again.  They look even better in person.  Can't wait to hang 'em!

Kevin, if you don't mind, I for one would love to see a photo of the finished result once you've hung 'em. If you have a person in there for a sense of size, I wouldn't cry either.

Sure, Joakim.  Though it may be a bit.  I want to get all five pieces first so's I can do my Wall of Byrne.  Doom Patrol in the center with Alpha Flight on the left with the Demon below and Thunder Agents to the right with Captain Canuck underneath.

Here are two images that should give you an idea of the size of the various
commission pieces:

And here's the two composited together to give an even better sense. . .

Thanks, JB. I'd seen the two first ones before, but the combination of the two helps even more.

But it's still very cool to see various commissions with somebody next to them. I remember that the first photo that I saw in here showing that caused me a wee bit of a gasp. It just brings home in every case a sense of materiality that is easy to loose track of when looking at the pieces onscreen as "just" images.
