Those are some great auctions!  Good luck to James and all potential bidders!

Is JB's poster art going to be part of the auction?

Given what he paid for it, I'm guessing James might want to hold on to that!

James, those are some very nice pieces you have up for auction. I hope you raise a lot of money for two very good causes.  Here are some of the photos I took at MOC. A lot of the ones I took at MOC and Baltimore didn't turn out. I'm going to finally enter the future and buy one of those digital cameras.

Alan Davis

Joe Kubert and myself. Thanks for taking the pic, Joe.

Some bodybuilding ladies who were selling their comic.

Here is a shot of us at dinner. The first two guys are friends of Wayne whose names I can't recall. The rest from L-R. Wayne Osborne, Steven Myers, Paul Greer, Dave Pruitt and Joe Hollen.

A closer shot of only the JBF members. Take note that Wayne's eyes are open.

That's right, I was merely doing my part in raising the profile for all of us. I told Joe's brother and friend, who are "civilians", that I was a properly dressed comic book fan, and Joe was perpetuating a negative steroetype. I told the waitress the same, when she asked if we were "comic people".  Alan Davis commented that I was, "not as smart as I was yesterday," when I saw him sunday and I was dressed in my Captain America t-shirt. Smart in the British sense, meaning, well dressed, though the other could apply as well.

Yeah, I tried to impress the waitress by stressing that we were not just comic people....we were VIPs!!!

By the way, my brother took the group picture above so he deserves credit for capturing (possibly) the first known photograph of Wayne's eyes.
