Would have given you 20 bucks to do donuts in the parking lot...that could have been fun. wonder what the mileage on that thing is now?

I loved the Batmobile but good god, listening to the Batman theme song all day was wretched. At first I was like "oh, that's cool" and then an hour later I was like "still playing eh?" and then I was like "good god, save me from this horror!!!"

Really? I didn't even notice it unless I was within about 25 feet of the Batmobile. Maybe I just tuned it out.

There's a comic book show that's happening in Ashland, KY on Nov. 16th. Beau Smith and Wayne Osborne will be there as guests. Wayne tells me that the release of the FX tpb may coincide with the timing of the show, I think it comes out officially the following week. If anyone is anywhere near there, come on over. http://www.network54.com/Forum/616945/ |

At first I was like "oh, that's cool" and then an hour later I was like "still playing eh?" and then I was like "good god, save me from this horror!!!"•• I have never seen the movie TRON. I have, in fact, avoided seeing it. Why? Because I was at a Con in Atlanta the year it came out, and somebody had a booth set up immediately across from me, in which they were promoting the movie with a loop tape of one scene that played over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. And just to make matters worse, there was some kind of glitch in the tape, so each day, as the day wore on, the playback got shorter and shorter and shorte and short and shor and shor and sho and sh… And nobody did anything to fix it, or turn the ing thing OFF!

Pictures of my significant autograph pickups from MOC....first up, Cyberfrog # 1 signed by Ethan van Sciver, Marvel Tales 204 signed by Chris Claremont (previously signed by Byrne!), Iron Man 121 (my all-time favorite Iron Man cover) signed by Bob Layton and Roger Stern, Amazing Spider-Man 294 signed by McLeod.

A couple years ago I had Stan Lee sign my Wal-Mart exclusive (ha ha) Spider-Man movies adaptation. When I found out Alan Davis would be at MOC I thought it was a great opportunity to add his signature to this issue. I bet I have the most cherished copy of this comic in existence! Hopefully I'll get to meet Mark Farmer someday...this comic is framed and hangs over my computer desk.

Last but definitely not least, I had Joe Kubert sign my copy of TEX! I loved this story. When Joe went to sign it he asked who it was to. When I said, "Joe", he smiled and said, "Well, at least I know how to spell that one!"
