I was bummed out several months ago when JB said he wasn't actively
pursuing any comic book opportunities.

••

When I said that, I wasn't expecting a whole bunch of STAR TREK to drop
into my lap!

JB, I don't know if you saw my post on page 1 of this thread-- will this mini be accessible to the non-Angel/Buffy viewer?

I have faith in JB....though I hope he doesn't mind me saying that I'm buying this solely for the art.
All I know about Angel is that Buffy's a vampire-slayer, Angel's a vampire, they had a romance (must have been "interesting", and now they don't. The end.
That's even less knowledge than my Star Trek!

And if you check out my original question, you'll notice that I prefaced it with "this is probably a silly question!" I should just shut up and KNOW BETTER!

The day one of your books is NOT accessible will probably be the day the earth opens up & swallows us all whole.

Well, we sure are glad it did! And a big "Thumbs Up" to IDW for making it happen.

Angel, World War I and JB? Three things that it's very hard for me to say 'no' to.

Me too. I think JB's only Transformers work so far is a single cover for Titan's Dark Designs trade which looked pretty damn nice.

Seems like a natural fit to me, given his talent for drawing machinery. Hell, some 3D models could be used.

I know nothing about Angel.  But the words "Shot from JB's pencils" means I am all over this.  I can't wait to see this.

I've recently watched seasons 1 and 2 and have been converted into a rabid
fan of ANGEL!
