Since I don't like using any kind of surface fixatives on the commission
pieces, I try to keep them as "clean" as possible. Conté crayon would
definitely take us outside that box!

Incidentally, from what he's told me, Terry used old fashioned Crayola wax
crayons to get those effects, not conté!

Addressing this to part two of your answer below.... would Crayola's necessitate a fixative? I've had success using both black colored pencil and conté crayon on coquielle board without fix and no smearing... even thru multiple moves.

Commissions aside, would you or have you used it on you pen and ink comic work?

Wow. I guess the old adage of "whatever works" is true!

This promises to be artistically innovative. I imagine the grey tones
combined with color would produce something reminiscent of old newsprint
comic books – having the muted subtlety of yesterday, but also the crisp
lines of today.

The reeking-of-fanboy-ennui editorial comments notwithstanding, THIS is kinda fun.

Technically, I'm a fangirl, but glad to see the ennui isn't lost on you, haha.

Glad you enjoyed my site!

Welcome, Tania!

And just remember, if your ennui ever becomes a problem Wolfram & Hart
can remove it for you...

The same actress played Halfrek and Cecily and in the ep where they are all locked in the house Halfrek recognizes Spike as being William.

And also, I'm glad you enjoyed the timeline. My goofy commentary aside, I really enjoyed putting them together for all of my sites.

The Timeline was most helpful, Tania. It showed me that I could, indeed, do
an Angelus story IDW will be presenting next Hallowe'en (barring unforeseen
eventualities.)

So, thanks!

You've got a preliminary Hallowe'en release date for an Angelus story, JB... that's just nifty planning or something, methinks.
