That DOOMSDAY + 1 splash posted on this page is a pretty good (or is that
bad?) example of something I have mentioned elsewhere -- the problem I
used to have making buildings appear to be different heights when viewed
from above. Even with the water level to provide a reference I somehow was
not able to pull it off!

(And the sketches in the last three posts are positively cringe inducing!)

Also, in my mind there is a JB pin-up of Cloak and Dagger....maybe in a Spider-man annual? Anybody know where that was published?

Interesting to see the corner symbol original art. The inking for extreme
reduction looks like a cross between Terry Austin and Joe Sinnott.

Yes, it looks rather different than John's artwork from this age. I had to
compare it with the comic because at first sight I thought it was a fake. I
suppose that it's a consequence of the extreme reduction, so John had to
use very bold lines.
