I like it better without the copy.  It looked like Guardian was about to take them on single handedly.  I was completely stoked grabing that copy of the shelf of my LCS!

John,

GORGEOUS!  Those were two of my most sought after Byrne pieces!!  I finally was able to get the second one I needed only a few months ago.  If I'm not mistaken the Marvel one was MUCH harder to come by.

Yeah -- a superhero about to take on the villains. THAT'S never been done.

Thank You Marc, I bought those posters years ago and put them in frames along with this one.

Wow! Imho, the ultimate FF illo! I'd love to own that poster!

Marc, sorry not to come to you before, but I was out of town. Anyway, you
already got JB to answer you, the best one to solve your doubts.

It wasn't the idea that it hadn't been done before.  It was NOT giving the audience what they thought they wanted.  As a kid, I thought that Omega Flight had taken out Alpha Flight and now only Guardian stood before them.  That was kind of the "taunt" vibe I got from Lil, Flashback, and Wildchild.

Only to find out later in the book that they were instead betrayed.  It was a total shocker.  Had the proposed dialogue been there, I would have guessed it from the get go.

Currnetly listed for sale somewhere. I have removed the sellers name that was above and left of the Hulk's head, so it has lost the left hand edge of the hill line.

Where is that Hulk for sale at?

Never mind I found it, way to expensive, you can get a commission that's bigger and better for a whole lot cheaper by JB today. Thanks but no thanks.
