Doom is such a great character.  It's fun to think about a world with Doom in it.  What would it be like to see him on Nightline, or being interviewed by Barbara Walters?

I thought the portrait commissions had been done away with. Another awesome commission of a villain. The character poses are on fire! Hope there are more to come

I love it. A lot more threatening than a full body shot.

It's even very 1930's serial in style. That could be Ming menacing Flash Gordon.

Crazily well-crafted - the gun, hand and foreshortened arm are particularly flawless.

John, I was told by someone that he tried commissioning a portrait and was told you no longer were doing them. He must have misunderstood. This piece is brilliant. So many nice touches, which is the norm for these it seems

Of course I like it.  Instead of the montage coffee table book I'm voting for the DOOM coffee table book.

Could have meant a self-portrait, which I have declined as a
commission from the get-go. I mean, what are ALL these single figure
pieces, if not "portraits"?
